Did you know that there are many foods to help improve the growth and development of your kid’s brain? With the help of these foods children can gain better cognitive skills, have an improved behavior, and have better overall happiness.

Broccoli

Broccoli is considered to be one of the best foods for the brain. Broccoli contains a high amount of sulforaphane. Sulforaphane helps rebuild damaged brain cells and improves cognition. Broccoli also has fiber and vitamin C in it which contributes to children’s brain health as well.

Salmon

Unlike most fatty foods, salmon is actually good for you. Salmon has a great amount of DHA and EPA omega-3 fatty acids that are very important to a child’s brain. Studies have shown that most kids don’t consume enough of omega-3 acids, so if your children don’t enjoy fish look into giving them an omega-3 gummy vitamin.

Blueberries

Blueberries are high in magnesium and are a great source of vitamin C. They also have a good amount of fiber in them. Not only that, but blueberries are so yummy. They help with behavior and mood as well.

Walnuts

Walnuts are great sources of protein, magnesium, healthy fats, and vitamin B6. This snack is good for helping build neurotransmitters in children’s brains to carry signals within the body’s nervous system.

There are also many other foods that help with growth and development of the brain. Here is a full list of foods that should be included in your child’s diet for their overall health.
